How 2 Students Grew Their Startup Idea Into an 8-Figure Business
Daniel Ha is the co-founder and CEO of the blog commenting platform Disqus. He and his co-founder founded the company in 2007 while they were undergraduates at the University of California, and then shortly after dropping out to work on the business full-time. Not only was Disqus my guest's first business, it was also his first job.
9 years later, Disqus is used by millions of websites. It reaches over a billion unique visitors and handles over 50 million comments a day. The company generates 8-figures in annual revenue. It has raised over $20 million in funding and is based in San Francisco.
We talk about how they came up with the idea, what they did to get early traction and how they've successfully grown the business to where it is today.
