SaaS Club is a one-person business. No team, no assistant. You're already talking to the person who decides.

I'm a big believer in deep work. Producing a podcast episode or recording an interview takes hours of focus. So I choose to do less, and fewer calls is a big part of that.

And a 30-minute call is never 30 minutes. First there's the back and forth to find a time that works. Then the first ten minutes go on getting each other up to speed.

I keep calls for podcast interviews and coaching founders. Everything else happens over email, including sponsorship deals and sales.

Email also gives us both time to think. You can say exactly what you mean, and I can reply properly instead of off the top of my head.

You'll get a straight answer, and we'll both respect each other's time.
